Through the name Perevale, Perevale Publications links onto one of the sources of inspiration behind the founding of Nutley Hall, a theme taken from the Celtic version of the Holy Grail.
The venture was established in 2009, happily coinciding with the celebrations of Nutley Hall’s 50th birthday in that year. The principle aim of Perevale Publications is to publish, co-publish and distribute works that have a contribution to make to contemporary spiritual life, but which would be unlikely to become a ‘commercial proposition’ in the climate of today’s book trade.
From this standpoint, it belongs to an integral part of Nutley Hall’s cultural life, albeit modest and secondary to the care and wellbeing of its residents: to reach out through the produce of its workshops, through the arts and in other ways into the public domain.
