Social and Cultural Life
The approach to cultural life at Nutley Hall is sustained by a belief in the value of friendly social interaction and space for individuality. Our intention is to provide an environment which promotes healing and development through positive social activity and engagement. To this end there is a wide range of opportunities available, which combine to form a thriving creative and cohesive social life, both within and outside the community.
Music-making in its many forms is prominent at Nutley Hall and can be explored and developed within differing abilities. Concert giving and concert going are, as a consequence, popular social activities. Eurythmy, a gentle art of movement, also helps bring balance and rhythm and is offered as both a group and an individual activity.
Everybody is invited to participate in adult education classes, which constitute both a forum for discussion and an informative resource for language and number work and for exploration of the nature of the world around us.
