Bakery Assistant (up to 30 hours)
The bakery at Nutley Hall enables our residents with learning-disabilities to co-produce specialty breads (and other bakery goods) for our community and several local outlets. We are looking for a friendly, organised and patient person to support the day-to-day running of this special enterprise.
Duties include: To assist (or to deputise for) the baker in producing bread (and other bakery goods) for the whole community and for other outlets, supervising the work of residents and maintaining the bakery and utensils in a clean and hygienic state.
To maintain a high standard that will contribute to the quality of care and lifestyle afforded to each resident, respecting their individuality and dignity.
To share responsibility for the monthly bakery accounts and in issuing statements to outlets supplied. Assisting with other paperwork as required.
To be in sympathy with the principles of anthroposophical medical, social therapy and educational impulses.
To be involved in the social, cultural and practical life of the Nutley Hall community where appropriate.
