Our dear friend Francoise Thiebauld passed away peacefully at her home in Tall Timbers, Nutley Hall, early in the morning on 7th October 2025.
Francoise was part of Nutley Hall for over 40 years and only a few weeks ago we had the joy of celebrating her 80th birthday together.
Her genuine interest in others, her ability to express gratitude, along with a dignified and warm spirit, honesty, and often delightfully direct and funny remarks, drew many friends to her over the years.
Although unwell in recent months, Francoise met her physical decline with characteristic determination and her familiar “no-nonsense” approach, accompanied throughout by her loving sister, the dedicated team in Tall Timbers and many of her Nutley Hall friends.
True to form, Francoise continued to take part in activities until the end of last week.
We accompany Francoise and her family with love and warm thoughts; her presence will be missed by many people whose lives she touched so deeply.
