New Chicks at Nutley Hall

Our dwindling hen population received a boost a few weeks ago when three little chicks hatched from eggs which were rescued by Thomas and Monica Winterfeldt.  They hatched in a homemade incubator after being abandoned by a one of the hens. Some of the residents have been enjoying visiting them and seeing their rapid development. We are now trying to figure out their gender, with the hope of increasing the number of the egg laying hens.
